I remember the first time I took notice of "Brian CC" on this forum. I think it was early last year. You and Luca/funboy started throwing some light punches at each other over his "old type" female -think her name was Asia. Anyway, after that, your posts were "on my radar" as a product of someone who says whatever he believes. I had been struggling to put together a more complete picture of the corso from a million websites, internet pics, conversations with breeders of American lines, and European lines, etc. It was a mess. What the hell is a corso? Head type: Rustic? modern? Classic?
What is what?? American? Italian? Long muzzles? Bulldogs? Big? Little? ARGGGHHHHH! They are all different. What is true?
I was having a tough time making sense out of all the conflicting information.
Since then, I've appreciated your forward approach and your total inability to edit yourself.

"Thank God", I'd say to myself, "someone here is as bad at politics as I am, and this guy is willing to say whatever the hell he believes; damn the consequences." I realize that you've pissed off a few people, but I hope they will appreciate the fact that you have done a service to newbies by throwing out so much information to consider. Whether I've agreed with you or not (and I usually do), at least you present a strong opinion to grapple with -not a politician's opinion. Without that, there is nothing to consider or challenge.
For sure, Davide, you have accelerated my understanding of this breed! This has forced me to consider and reconsider my positions on type over and over again.
So, thank you.
