Title: Hello, Corsari!
Post by: vilma on February 17, 2007, 06:54:45 PM
Greatings from Lithuania! We also have some cane corsi in our contry. Acordig to my knowledge there were abot 60 of them registered in December 2006. We have only one  :( , but it seems to me such a situation won't last for a long   ;) ...
Let me introduse to you our beloved Cerber

Thank's.
He is our first corso. we brought him from Poland. We got to know about this breed a year ago and studied a lot. from all the information we found in internet, and during the comunication with those who already had CC we cosidered such dog is suitable for us. And we were right. Now we know that we will always live with cane corso.
Now I'm trying to learn as more as posible about this breed. actulay with a few CC keepers we are working on the e-page about this breed and cc in lithuania. Perhaps our activities will turn out into the breed club someday. We hope  :).

The only thing I can say after 4 days, 22 hours and 17 minutes spent on this board is THIS IS PERFECT PLACE FOR "CC WORLD" STUDIES. This board is full of direct and indirect information about this breed, which conquered my heart (Dogs were always the object of my passion -  I used to own Airedale terjer, now I have also Shelty which is bought from rescue 6 years ago). This board provided me a possibility to "open eyes wider" on CC.
The web page http://www.canecorso.lt/ is already running, and some time ago we started our own CC forum. We are trying to do our best to provide as more as possible information for new CC owner, or people who are only thinking about purchasing the pup (standardt in Lithuanian, breed history and character, the translations of standardt comments by. A. Morssiani, V. Indiveri interviu are under the editorship).
The other step - one more corso  :) .

;)  Wow!  What great photos.  I really enjoyed viewing your pup!    I have to admit, I think I enjoyed the quality of the photographs more than I appreciated the quality of the dog.

Airedales eh?  Love those dogs!  I would love to own one, but my husband brought me home a Patterdale Terrier instead.  I have to admit, I am warming up to the Patterdale we named "Lucy" very nicely.

Welcome aboard and please keep the lovely artwork coming!

I know, Cerb won't be a star of CC show world, but he is the best companion we ever expected. I appreciate his caracter very much  :)

We also enjoy obedience working

Shows... There are not many CC in LT (4- 8 dogs on CAC shows ), so Cerb is LT JCH already  :)  I'm waiting forward for CACIB on March 2008 - G. Vandoni is going to be judge
