Title: Greetings from Chicago (NW Suburbs)

Hello, all!

We have just begun a search for the right Cane Corso puppy -- having researched the breed and belonged to other CC forums for about three years now. Whilst we have never had one before, we have kept giant breeds (Great Danes and IWHs) for over twenty years.  Currently our household consists of a six year old Irish Wolfhound --whom we rescued when his owner abandoned him at her training facility. They  thought no one would want a huge and older dog and were going to put him to sleep. We also have two cats, and two horses and three adult kids.

I am looking forward to good discussions and lots of advice from all of you who know and love the breed.

Avalanche Cane Corso have a few litters that were just born. That is where we are getting our pup from. Check out their site www.avalanchecanecorso.com. Their facebook page is more updated though and they have pics of the new puppies. We are eager to be getting our baby in 8 weeks....we are counting :)
