Wanted to introduce myself. I'm Ric and live in Little Rock, Arkansas. Four days ago we added a 15 week old female Cane Corso to our family. We also have a 7 year old male retired racing greyhound. We named our new girl Fiona. We're busy exposing her to as many people, animals, and situations as possible. We are going to start puppy kindergarten two weeks.

We knew she was a "pet quality dog". We weren't looking for a dog to show or breed, just a good family pet that will also be a good protector/watch dog. So far her temperament seem very good. She is well on her way to being house trained, and is doing pretty well learning how to walk on a leash.
Her litter mates seemed to have picked on her. She has several small bite wounds on her ears, legs and under her chin. Is this something that happens very often?

Hello and welcome!
Congrats on your pup 8)
Somtimes in a litter, there will be that one pup that the litter picks on...that is normal.

My 12 Year Old Am Staff was the same way. She was sort of the runt, got her head caught in something and the litter mates did the same thing. Of couse she turned out to be a sloid 70+ pounds and no dog ever picked on her after that. Good thing the litter pups got their chance while they did...Ha
