Title: webserver maintenance
Post by: Robbrs on July 08, 2006, 02:09:44 PM
This website COULD be a bit slower then normal due server maintenance in the upcoming 4 weeks. I expect two times a little downtime for 2 hours each, for movement to a backupserver. I hope you all can live with this  :)

Okay, there was some downtime.... sorry for that  :) But I'd to phyisically move to server to another (temporary) place, but everything is back up and running  :)

The server will be back at the original location in 3 weeks. The website COULD (sometimes) be a bit slower! But we all hope for the same availibility as usual!
This all means that there will be a 2nd short downtime somewhere in the beginning of august. But untill then: enjoy it  ;D

It seems that for some forummembers the website still is down :'( In 1½ week from now, the server will be back to his old place, which will automatically solve this problem. We are ofcourse trying to solve this problem sooner. But if you miss anyone on-line, it is possible that they just do not have access to the forum at the moment. They will be back ;)

I will now go offine myself for a couple of days. My laptop needs maintenance too, so that it will not overheat anymore. I hope to be back on-line by Friday. Please do not send me any e-mails till Friday, because I do not want my mailbox to flll up completely. See you soon ;)

The webserver is currently back at the original place! So no downtimes anymore to expect!
A few members from France, Italy and Belgum couldn't visit this forum for the last 3 weeks. Out apologies for that, but we try to find a solution for the future, if movement would be necessary again. For al those members should it be possible to visit the forum now.

Happy foruming!
