Hello,
My name is Heidi. I recently moved from the US to Bangalore, India where my fiancée is working for Cisco. We brought with us one 4mo female CC named Mana, and were importing a female named Alessandra Dei Silvanbull from Porta Del Inferno. I’m here to learn all I can about the breed and make new CC friends!

Hello and welcome! :)
Wow Bangalore! I have a lot of family in Madras, Delhi and Hyderbad but have visited Bangalore on several trips as well. I took pics of my CC in Feb when I went there and they had never even seen the breed, I am sure your dogs will attract a lot of attention. ;D Best of luck with your new litter and look forward to seeing some pictures.
In Madras, I saw a lot of dogs eating human food instead of dog food, it was quite strange to see dogs tossing back Dosa and Idli like it was nothing. :) Do you plan on having food shipped in or is it readily available where you live?

No!!!!! We have found a good wholesale dealer to provide us REAL quality dog food for our animals........ The locals here view dogs much different then we do..... They wonder why they are soo important, and treated as part of the family. Only breeders and kennels truly understand where we come from on that topic....... I hope to introduce the CC's to India, and get people interested in the breed, and dogs, for the right reasons......

Thats awesome that you have a good wholesale dealer! :) I have several friends who own German Shepards for police work that import.
Yes, I get that a lot whenevery I visit family as well, its hard for many people to understand how dogs are treated better than humans, particularly in a third world country.
Best of luck and look forward to seeing pics. :)
