Title: won't connect
Post by: Casa del Sol on April 05, 2007, 01:43:32 PM: i have the java standard edition on mcomputer, but when i try to go into the chat nothing happens. the java cup appears and nothing else. do i need to install something else?

try to uninstall all java runtimes you've installed on your computer. After that, try to reinstall java from: http://jdl.sun.com/webapps/getjava/BrowserRedirect?locale=en&host=www.java.com

Post by: canecorsonancy on April 06, 2007, 08:07:10 PM: I did have the same problem on Skinny's computer. But after we reinstalled the whole computer the chat worked. I guess a new computer would also do the trick ;D You could install mIRC. The link is in the post "HOW TO CHAT".

that's the best solution ;D
Problems with java are always very difficult to fix! Trying to install mIRC is also a good way. It's even easier to chat

You can download mIRC at www.canecorsoforum.info/chat/mirc.zip --> copy all files to your C:\ drive, and double click mirc.exe

The mirc options screen apears. Only change the 'changeme' tekst to your name, realname and so on! Click the 'Connect to server' button and have fun with chatting :D
